Project 1: Contract staffing of IN Support Engineers and Mobile Testing Engineers

This project was executed for Teleindia Networks to support their projects with Aricent Technologies. As part of these projects, the EMWIT team had recruited group of entry level engineers and delivered specialized training programs to prepare them to take-up the job assignments of providing IN technical support and testing mobile applications. This helped Teleindia in providing low cost temporary staffing solution to Aricent Technologies, thereby ensuring new customer acquisition for Teleindia.

Project 2: Providing strategy to upgrade existing 2G network to 3G in India

This project was executed for Tonse Telecom to support their market research project on developing strategy to upgrade 2G Cellular networks to 3G Network. As part of this project, emwit team did a detailed study of existing GSM and CDMA Radio access network (RAN), transmission network and the core network. Based on the outcome of the study, the team proposed an optimum approach to upgrade the existing GSM and CDMA networks to 3G network. The major focus of the study was in the area of RAN and quality of service with respect to subscriber growth projection and consumer behaviour based on usage.

Project 3: Designing and planning 3G Network for a telecom test lab

This project was done for a telecom product development organization to implement a lab to develop and test 3G network products and applications. The team at emwit was involved in designing and planning the entire Release 5 and Release 6 network including the RAN, Transmission Network and Core Network with VAS servers. Emwit played a major role in deciding the lab network capacity based on testing requirements.

The team also did a detailed performance study of different vendor products for 3G network and recommended the customer to procure the product from specific vendor.

Project 4: Recruitment of Field testers and product developers for 3G Technologies

Emwit executed this project to support recruitment of field testers in 3G domain at Huawei Technologies. Under this project, Emwit was involved in talent search, preliminary screening and providing customized training to the short listed candidates as per the profile requirement. This project helped Huawei in saving time and project cost, without having to find suitable experienced profiles from the market.
